Description: A Legislative intern position is available in Representative George T. Darany's Lansing office. The intern would be expected to provide assistance to the representative and members of his staff. Responsibilities may include monitoring legislation, research and written correspondence to groups and individuals within the 15th District, communications, and general office operations. Interns will gain valuable hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment. Hours are negotiable.
Salary Range: This is an unpaid position, but college credit is possible. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator)
Minimum Qualifications: Previous office experience and knowledge of the legislative process helpful, but not required. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent writing and communication skills are preferred. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
