Legislative Contituent Intern

Office: Rep. Stapleton

Caucus: Democrat

Description: Responsibilities will include corresponding with individuals and groups, working to resolve constituent issues, creating a network of resources, and working with seniors in the district to address their concerns. The position requires positive and productive constituent relations and the ability to work under time deadlines.

Salary Range: This is an unpaid position, but college credit is possible. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator)

Minimum Qualifications:The applicant must be professional, resourceful, and possess strong administrative, organizational, and clerical skills. A student pursuing a degree in social work is preferred. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, telephone techniques, and positive customer relation skills. Requires proficiency with PC’s, including Microsoft Word, Excel, GroupWise, and the ability to learn other software applications.
