Republican Legislative Intern
General Description

The office of State Representative Judy Emmons is looking for summer Interns in her Lansing office.  This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the legislative process.  The Internship will provide valuable skills in the areas of research, constituent contact and legislative issues.  Representative Emmons represents all of Montcalm County and part of Ionia County.

 
Salary Range

This is an unpaid position, but college credit is possible. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator.)

 
Minimum Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Previous office experience and knowledge of the Legislature and legislative process is a plus but not required.   Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
